- Problem: frequent RAS disconnects.
-
- I am using 2 Sportster V.34 28.8 (Eprom,DSP 10/18/95 rev 1.1)
- modems to connect 2 computers running NT3.51 sp2 using RAS. I am
- using the mdmusrv2.inf from USR for my modem.inf file.
-
- Connections are usually made at 24000 to 26400 rarely at 28800.
- The disconnection are most common when transfering large files.
- These modems replaced 2 Sportster 14.4 modem that have worked
- flawlessly for the past 1.5 years on the same computers and
- phones.
-
- So far I am unable to diagnose the reasons for the
- disconnections....running terminal after the disconnects and
- using the ati6 gives 0s in all fields.
- ATi6 on intentional disconnections gives retrains granted 0, Blers 1
- or 2 and link naks 0.
-
- Any suggestions on what should I do next.
