  11. Problem: frequent RAS disconnects.

  13. I am using 2 Sportster V.34 28.8 (Eprom,DSP 10/18/95 rev 1.1) 
  14. modems to connect 2 computers running NT3.51 sp2 using RAS. I am 
  15. using the mdmusrv2.inf from USR for my modem.inf file.

  17. Connections are usually made at 24000 to 26400 rarely at 28800.  
  18. The disconnection are most common when transfering large files.  
  19. These modems replaced 2 Sportster 14.4 modem that have worked 
  20. flawlessly for the past 1.5 years on the same computers and 
  21. phones.

  23. So far I am unable to diagnose the reasons for the 
  24. disconnections....running terminal after the disconnects and 
  25. using the ati6 gives 0s in all fields.  
  26. ATi6 on intentional disconnections gives retrains granted 0, Blers 1
  27. or 2 and link naks 0.

  29. Any suggestions on what should I do next.
